	Galore Girl Kits The Galore Kits will be ready for you on the first Saturday of every month!!! Here's what it means: The Galore Girls are our class instructors. Every month on the first Saturday each one of them will have kits available for you to purchase. The kit comes from their own creativity and style and includes everything you need (including pictures and instructions) to complete whatever the kit contains. It might be a two-page layout. It might be 4 two-page layouts. It might be several cards. Each one is different and unique and is priced according to the content. Quantities are limited, so, come on in on the first Saturdays and check them out! July "Crop Around the Clock" Retreat! Our July retreat will take place Friday the 25th thru Sunday the 27th. This "in-store" retreat is $50 and goes from 6 p.m. Friday through 6 p.m. Sunday. Included are all meals (dinner Fri., breakfast, lunch & dinner on Sat., and breakfast and lunch on Sunday), all the drinks & snacks you could possibly consume, prizes & 10% off all your purchases for the weekend. You may crop until 3 a.m. and then go home to sleep or go to a hotel with your friends and make it a mini vacation! If you need to leave for a soccer game or church or whatever, you can go and come back to all your things right where you left them! Your six foot table will be yours all weekend! You may sign up yourself plus three others. As always, croppers need to be at least 12 years old. Younger children and babies are not permitted at crops (except, of course, to visit Mom!) *Fund Raiser for Heart Transplant* *SpecialFund Raising Crop* We are thrilled to be a part of helping to raise funds for someone close to our hearts. Most of you know Sherry Thurman who has cooked and served your meals for at least four years. Her husband is in need of a heart transplant. But, they have to have a $25,000 transplant fund in place before the surgery. So, we're helping in any way we can. As of this date, the fund is at about $6100 (this includes donations from their church, family and others, as well as many of you). Many croppers have donated to the fund. Several of our gals at our last "Crop Swap" (our scrapbooking garage sale!) donated all of their proceeds to the fund. Several have donated some significant scrapbooking items for us to sell asking that the proceeds go to the fund. Our May 23rd crop will raise at least $500 for the fund. The crop fee will be $15 with half of that fee going to the fund. We have several other fun things in mind to help raise funds. So, don't miss out on the fun while we raise money for a very serious cause. KIDZ KAMPS IN JUNE & JULY Kidz Kamp, $10 per Day (for kids 7 & older) Four days of Make 'n Takes and FUN!!! Sign up for one day, two days. . .or all four days! Different projects will be done in each of the two Kamps. On the first day of each Kamp, we'll cover some beginning basics in the first half hour - then it's on to the fun stuff! So, if you have a beginner this would be a good day to be there. The kids will complete a make 'n take each day with different techniques and fun product. Then they will be free to work on their own pages for the rest of the time with help available, of course. There will be door prizes every hour - EVERYONE WINS!!! Moms, you are welcome to stay and crop at nearby tables specially reserved for you. Or you can leave your child at the Kamp by telling us what your child's spending limit is. Each child must have with them the tools (personal trimmer & scissors as a minimum), adhesive, and pictures for them to use on their pages. Cyndi will be the Kamp Kounselor! Creating Keepsakes Convention Coming August 21-23 Classes and FUN! There will be lots of classes and lots to see at the convention. The sign-ups for CK Convention classes and crops will begin at noon on Wednesday, May 14th at the Creating Keepsakes convention site online. The classes fill up fast, so, be sure to be right there at your computer at noon. Classes should be posted on their website soon. The website to get more class info is: http://www.ckscrapbookevents.com/ok2008/content/classes.php Check out the GALORE FUN!!! There will also be lots going on at your local scrapbook stores. In addtion to give-aways all weekend, we'll be open until midnight and holding crops on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, the 21st, 22nd and 23rd. Our crops will be $10 and will be 6 to midnight with dinner included. The sign-ups for the August convention-time crops at Scrapbooks Galore will begin on Thursday, May 15th along with the June crop sign-ups. *Birthday coming up for you or a friend?* Can you think of a more fun way to celebrate your birthday than to spend it cropping with your friends?!!! There's no charge for adult parties (except a nominal charge for Sundays) and we have plenty of room. Give us a call and plan to have a terrific celebration!!! You can do all kinds of other parties, too. We've had Baby Showers, Wedding showers, parties for scout troops, get-togethers for pom and cheerleading squads and lots more. Even the "non-scrapbookers" invited have a ball!!
